Work doesn’t have to hurt. You don’t need to tolerate suffering to make it in the real world. You have a fundamental right to work towards a better life. Even if you think this is out of reach now, the truth is that it’s possible—and it could even be the most realistic goal you’ll ever set.

But reaching for that can be impossible when no one was ever able to show you what truly matters. If you grew up in a household focused on survival, there probably wasn’t room for things like life skills, emotional support, or personal exploration. In that environment, you likely picked up habits, such as ignoring red flags or always putting others first. While the habits served you well back then, they don’t fit the life you want now. 

This is a chance to build the foundation you missed, exactly how you want it. Replacing outdated habits with new skills is brave and difficult work. But the other side is full of energy, pride, and a life you finally own. 

Hoping for something better may feel too risky. In the past, striving for improvement may have only led to more pain. You may have encountered coaches or therapists who focused entirely on what was "wrong" with you, leaving you thinking you were the problem rather than the system you were surviving. Some may have even decided you were beyond help and pushed you out. And while self-help resources might have offered some helpful tips, they were often too shallow to reach the root of what you’ve been experiencing.

I’m your coach, Christi. I’ve demolished and restarted my life several times. Most restarts never worked out because I was chasing someone else’s version of success — whether that was excessive altruism, blind commitment to a conventional life, rebelling against the status quo, or financial success. Although most folks have admired my ambition during these pursuits, I was stuck in survival mode and the patterns I developed from my childhood. I’ve spent the last 10 years experimenting with various healing and self-development strategies and have found what creates long-term solutions. I’ve thus been able to determine my own version of success and I am here to empower others to find their own version too.
